LUSHaholic Breath of Fresh Air

Breath of Fresh Air Toner Review

Initial Thoughts

I’d never given much thought to using a toner in my daily skin care routine. My skin has always looked and felt relatively good and I hadn’t ever experienced major issues with it. Breath of Fresh Air and Eau Roma Water were included in my first few purchases from LUSH as I chose to experiment with a whole new facial routine that was completely comprised of LUSH products. I was interested to see how the toner would really affect my skin, if at all.

Lush says:

From an early age, Helen was inspired by the sea. She wanted to use sea water to soften and hydrate the face. This blend of ingredients from the sea will care for skin that has become dry or rough during the day. A touch of the sea. A gentle spray of Breath of Fresh Air refreshes you when you need it most and brings all the nutrients of the sea directly to your skin.

There are few different ways that LUSH toners can be used. A few uses include using it as a refreshing spray, an aid in cleansing, a way to add moisture or simply to tighten pores. I’m a big fan of products that have multiple uses and Breath of Fresh Air definitely qualifies.

I’ve found myself using it after washing my face and before I apply moisturizer in order to remove any left over residue. My favorite way to use it is as a midday spray to help combat the dirty feeling and to add a refreshing blast of moisture. I’ve also had great results using it to quell general irritation or slight redness.

There is a slightly fresh, aloe and rosy smell to it from the bottle but no real scent once it’s been sprayed on. It is not sticky and leaves skin quite smooth after it is dry (if you leave it on).

Breath of Fresh Air is a great item that works well with various skin types, both oily and dry or combination. It adds moisture if you need it, tones if your skin says so, smooths and calms when its needed.

Breath of Fresh Air toner is one of those products that you didn’t know you needed or wanted until after you’ve used it. It’s definitely not necessary in any facial routine but it is definitely a great addition and one that’s hard to part with after you experience it.
